Happy Monologue

You know the feeling, when you just get home from a busy day at work.  You feel so stressed, but I don’t let it get to me.  When I return home from work I grab my favorite piece of literature and a nice hot cup of tea.  It’s just so nice to sit in my fluffy recliner in front of the fire.  The warmth is so relaxing, how it just melts into your body.  Keeping you contently warm. It makes me forget about grocery shopping, work, and everything in between.  Sometimes I don’t read, I just do some Zen breathing then close my eyes.  In my mind I make up a magical world where I can just relax all day.  It calms me down.  That always reminds me of a quote “Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.”
